Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

Madrid welcomed faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to mark diversity and coexistence. The dialogue included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers shared personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can help build more inclusive communities.

During the event, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora linked the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
